Sam & his 77 Bus from Stephen R. McFadden on Vimeo.

When I first approached Sam about doing this video he was all about it. I had to leave to retrieve my camera but once I returned he hadn’t thought I would actually come back. Once I was there with camera in hand he was a bit nervous but an absolute trooper.
Sam gave a very heartfelt story about his connection to VW’s and triumphant find of his 77 Bus. Here’s to you and your Bus Sam!

Stig VWTV Interview from Stephen R. McFadden on Vimeo.

I’m so ecstatic that I approached Stig about doing VWTV. Stig is a true artist in the truest sense of the word from his very eclectic studio/shop where he produces and creates some the best paintings and sculptures this side of the Everglades. He loves his VW, so we honor him because of that. I hope you enjoy his interview with VWTV.

72 Ghia

May 24th, 2008

I remember when I first saw this car. I was absolutely in love at first site. It was dirty, rusty, slightly beat up (the story of most VW’s) but full of so much potential. It had sat up for probably about 15 years since it had last been driven so it needed much work. My father and I pulled it home and from there I began to sand and clean up what I could before we did anything major. Fortunately, the interior was in very good condition, well at least the seats. Carpet, headliner, dash and a few other things all had to be replaced and to this day still needs to be replaced. Long story short, we got it running, we got it painted. Two engines later and about a dozen or so stalls over the course of 2 years, it now sits in the very same spot we once brought it to ignite life in to it.
